Aussies with tails!

Many potential buyers ask us why we don’t dock our puppies tails! This s was a decision we made when we got our dogs. It was hard to find an Aussie puppy with a tail(except for the dog the breeder kept for themselves who had a gorgeous tail)! I was so sad to miss out on the lush beautiful colorful aussie tails. Studying more about the subject, I realized the amount of pain and trauma puppies are exposed to that last for the rest of their lives and mostly into their senior years. It was our decision to spare our beautiful puppies tails, for which our new puppy families have thanked us for. I will share some of the concerns, according to chatgpt:

These observations imply that over the course of years—especially for active, athletic breeds like Australian Shepherds—the absence of a tail might contribute to wear and strain on joints, increasing the risk of orthopedic problems in senior years.

I will add to that that tails are dogs’ means of communication Docking their takes away their voice.

We love our puppies so we spare their tails. And we pray that they find families that will love them even more💕
